What kinds of cat gifts should you get for your cat?

This article is not about specific cat gifts, (or pet gifts) in particular, but rather is about the kinds of cat gifts that cats seem to enjoy the most and is based entirely on personal observations (sorry, no scientific study here...).

One of the most obvious cat gifts that your cat will probably enjoy quite a bit is simply a favorite cat food or cat treat. OK, this may not seem much like a "cat gift" but I am referring to the things that they actually really like.

Cats also have some common traits and many seem to like cat gifts (or toys) that they can bat around and that move in strange ways, but they are so particular! Some hanging items and twistable pipe cleaners are often very entertaining. One of our cats favorites (other than live mice! :-) ) are those little laser light pens.

Often, a simple string toy (i.e. cat gifts (with or without and object on the end)) can provide quite a bit of entertainment and pleasure. Regardless of the kind of cat gifts your cat enjoys, he or she will, of course, let you know when they have grown weary of your gifts and attempts at entertainment and will just get bored and quit after some amount of time... They will take a break and let you know when they are ready to enjoy their particular gifts again :-) .
